2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the site, the server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referrer URL and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with IONOS. The connection to this website is encrypted (TLS).
3. Cookies and consent
We use the consent tool Complianz to ask for your permission before loading any non-essential cookies or services. The legal basis is § 25(1) TDDDG together with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; essential cookies rely on § 25(2) TDDDG. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Our email is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, Ireland (Microsoft 365). Data may be transferred to Microsoft Corporation in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Website forms (Join Now, Get Started)
The data you enter is sent to us by email and stored in our own database and self-hosted CRM on our server at IONOS. For Join Now this is your name, work email, company, type of company and your answers about modifications and fleet. For Get Started it is your organisation type and your answers about automation. We use it to respond, prepare an offer and manage our business relationship with you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
6. Appointment booking (Calendly)
On the Get Started page you can book a meeting via Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). The booking widget loads only after you consent to it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The details you enter in the booking form go to Calendly and to us. Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and we have a data processing agreement with them.
7. AD Demo and AD Feedback tools
These tools run on our own n8n system hosted on an IONOS server. The data you enter, namely your email, name, company, aircraft data and feedback, is stored in our own database on that server. We use it to generate your AD report and use your feedback to improve the tool (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We may also use your contact details to contact you about offers related to the tool (see section 8).
8. Sales communication
We send offers or sales emails only if you have consented (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 7(2) UWG), or, as an existing customer, about similar services of ours (§ 7(3) UWG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can withdraw consent or object at any time, free of charge, for example by emailing info@bshaero.com.
9. Google Analytics 4
With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how the site is used. It uses cookies, and data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie Settings”.
10. Google Fonts
This site currently loads fonts from Google’s servers (Google Ireland Limited). Your browser therefore sends your IP address to Google when a page loads, and data may be transferred to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). This is based on our interest in a consistent appearance of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
11. unpkg
This site loads JavaScript libraries from unpkg, an open-source content delivery network delivered via Cloudflare, Inc., USA. Your browser sends your IP address to that network when a page loads. This is based on our interest in reliable delivery of the site’s features (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
12. Links to LinkedIn
We link to our LinkedIn profile. No data goes to LinkedIn unless you click the link; LinkedIn’s own privacy policy then applies.
13. Storage period
We keep your data for as long as the business relationship or your interest in our services lasts, until you object or ask for deletion, unless we must keep it longer under commercial or tax law (typically 6 or 10 years under the HGB and AO).
14. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21(1)), and to direct marketing without giving reasons (Art. 21(2)). You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
